April marks the official start of Summer! Or, maybe it's just home to April Fool's Day?

Kidding aside, April is the 4th month of the year, when we typically see Spring start to take hold. Interesting fact, April comes from the Latin word Aperire, meaning "to open", referring to blooming flowers and trees. It also often is home to Easter, which this year will be on the 20th. If you like stargazing, April is also home to the Lyrid Meteor shower which will peak around the 22nd of the month.
